maybe it's my very own frame of reference talking here (over 40), but i'd put that on and instantly become 
again, i have missed the fashion boat this fall.

I've been screaming about these things ever since I saw they were making a comeback. Matter of fact, my good friend called me the other day specifically to tell me she was so excited she bought one. I said "WHY ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH WOULD YOU BUY A THING LIKE THAT???" She said "it hides the fat!" (btw, she's not even fat!).
*I think they are ugly
*I will think differently of people who purchase and wear them
*I will not purchase one
PERIOD!
I had one when I was 7 (or so)...that was enough!
UGH!

they are really quite popular with the little girls....i've gently discouraged my daughter from even looking in this direction.
it might be cute on a 10 yo, but she's remaining poncho-less and liking it.
