What do you think of this as a bridesmaid's dress? Not in that heinous fabric, but in cranberry satin. My bridesmaids are all pretty much digging it; I'm just waiting to hear back from one.
On a sort of unrelated note, I am wearing this black number (except not in black) to a wedding March 20. I'm thinking pale blue or pink or green.

Informal wedding - yes. Formal wedding - make it floor length.
And a tiara with either!

Wedding is very informal. My dress is halter style too, but in silver with a hand beaded bodice and a train out the back. Ceremony is outside, so I want them to be comfortable temperature wise.
I have four bridesmaids and I worry that if I put them in floor length dresses I will get lost in all that cranberry!

I like it.
I think with your hair and coloring, the black dress in pale blue would really look good. Of course, you're pretty enough to go dressed in a flour sack and still look great!

Since I am wearing a pair of red/black/ and grey plaid pants, and platform wingtips, I'm pretty sure you don't want my opinion, do you?

Well of course I do! This is not going to be a cookie cutter wedding. Just don't suggest it be in the fabric displayed.

Not for a wedding, but for a party I dig it. It looks like a stained glass window!

You're going to sew the dresses for yourself and your bridesmaids? COOL!

My dress is already done, has been for months. I look in it too. I love to sew, especially fancy dress up stuff that I would never buy.

Only the queen (that's me) gets to wear a tiara on the big day....
Actually I am in the market for a tiara, since I'm gong veilless.

Here's my wedding dress, but you have to imagine it in silver satin with a grey lace bodice:

This is stunning.
The bridesmaid dresses you have in mind will look wonderful and very complimentary.
