which do you hold more dear and why
me friends, as a lot of you know i don't really even ahve a relationship with my family. My line of thought is, You can choose your friends (who also choose you) but you can't choose your family.

Certain family. Certain friends. So, a little of both.
Let's just say that some friends have been more loyal than family. For that they deserve my return loyalty.

I hold the opposite opinion that you shouldn't have to put up with A-holes just cause they're family.

Family - blood is thicker than water...
I have loyalty to my Army buddies, a friend of 30+ years. Anything else, unless you save mine or a family member's life, family first.
