Fox Cities could be a definite possibility. There is a half marathon and also a 5K and relay teams for the full marathon for those not ready for the whole magilla (like me ) and I am always up for a trip to Wisconsin!!! (Although I'll let you know after Madison whether we'll all be allowed across the border again ) Weather wise that could be a great time of year for running! What's it like out there in late Sept, Mafia??
Let's add that to the list as a definite contender and see what else anyone comes up with. Criteria we used to use at CR were basically this: nothing that is lottery or closes so everyone has a chance of getting in, relatively accessible for travelers, and multiple distance races and/or a relay for the full to allow more people to participate.
I'll help coordinate wherever we decide to go! I'll post a notice in the HO to draw more people over for suggestions.
Edited to add: they even have PACING TEAMS!!!!
Edited again to add: CHECK OUT LAST YEAR'S HALF RESULTS....recognize the female WINNER?????

I am leaning towards Fox Cities right now. Let's see what the others come up with, though.

WHY DOES EVERY RACE HAVE TO BE WITHIN A 500 MILE RADIUS OF LAKE MICHIGAN?
There's fabulous racing weather all year round here, on the forgotten West Coast.

This is a shame, but it's pricey to fly out West and not driveable for most of us. I guess the midwest seems to be a good midpoint for everyone...... We'll have to think of something though.....

Sounds like a great race, but too far for me to drive. Almost twice as far as fox cities.
