what would happen if I was to swap a fuel pump on my truck - I have a 4 cyl could I put in the fuel pump for the V6?
The V6 version seems like it'll fit.
Would this cause the end of all life as we know it?

Its a Ford Ranger - gets 25-27 mpg

If it bolts up fine, my guess is that it's not a problem. The fuel pressure is regulated elsewhere. Why don't you call a NAPA dealer and find out for sure?

brother out law runs (and brews his own) Biodiesel - now his family runs a couple fast food places so he's got a supply of used fryer oil
His truck smells somewhere between french fries and popcorn when it runs.
