Last night there was a brief retirement party for two of our teachers.

I went, and was sitting near the end of the table visiting nicely. Then, the teacher who just had a baby showed up. And set the baby in it's carrier in the seat next to me.

The daughter of one of the retiring teachers, comes over to gush over the baby, and bends down and HELLO! Let's just say that her top shelf was full, and she pulled it out of the dresser in public.

I was sitting.right.there.

Everyone else was looking over at the baby, and I had to turn my head immediately and look back at them, to avoid being labeled a perv.

The question needs to be asked - was she wearing a cami or a regular bra and blouse combo of some sort ?

I get uncomfortable like that as well and I nursed my children!!!!

I never ever never ever never ever never ever never ever never ever did that in an indiscrete way. I usually sat in bathroom stalls, the backseat of my van, or had a baby blanket draped over me when I nursed. It can be done.

But NEVER EVER NEVER EVER!!!!

If women are comfortable with it...so be it. I think it's hard for others to be around it if they're strangers. My

the blouse was a loose, silky, black and white number...with a looong v-neck.

The bra...I really can't tell you what it was, besides small. This girl was busting out all over the place...I never noticed the bra, and I had approx .325 seconds of look before I turned my head as quickly as possible.

Did I read wrong, or was this a woman other than the mother who happened to bust free while bending to coo over the baby?...

Good rule of thumb - when one reports events of this sort, never give a length of time. You're just askin' for people to reply with tampering of the numbers.

This has been a public service announcement. We now return to Riff Raff, already in progress....

You did good Coach. If it was me and I figured out later what happened I'd have been mortified.

I however have 2 cow-orkers who when I talk to them (standing upright) they watch the top of my conservative shirts, I guess just in case one crawls up to the top and climbs out, because otherwise there is nothing to see. hate that. Mad

I think Coach phrased it oddly with the "pulling out the top shelf", but I think the cup (so to speak) just runneth over.

No nursing.
