Getting out at 1:30 because of the heat.

that's funny.
Yesterday it got to 92, and it was about 85 in the room I was subbing in. It's supposed to get hotter today.

The reason I ask is, when I was in grade school in Kentucky we had a day off because it got to 95 (I think) and most of the schools didn't have A/C. My Houston-born-and-raised parents who walked up hill both ways in the blazing sun every day of the year to school before there was such thing as central air, got a HUGE kick out of the fact that wimpy Kentucky kids can't hang in the mid 90s.
I'm sitting in A/C, I do not mock.

all of our buildings are air conditioned, but the unit on my side of the hall is broken  I have no windows in this room, and it is so stuffy, uncomfortable, but not extremely hot. I guess they won't let me go home for that.
