Calvin = MY SISTER except I'm not sure she'd accept holistic healing, because that might incorrectly imply that she is then at fault or in the tiniest bit accountable in some way for whatever it is she's a victim of, when 'really', the entire world is out to get her, naturally.
can of worms?

Some would say Calvin=Me
Whatever.
Maybe if my siblings hadn't bullied me all the time instead of supporting me, I would've turned out better.

it's all my fault

you name it, I'll take the blame for it
I am personally responsible for the agony of Christ

Or at the very least, far too many people. Blaming your own bad behavior on personality traits, like impulsiveness, is a load of crap. It's just refusal to accept responsibility for your actions and is indicative of a weak character.

well this is very timely.
I was talking to dad today about my problems, and he took much of the responsibility for them. He thinks that had he been a better role model and had made better choices himself, then perhaps I would have too, and my life would not be the chaos it is today. I truly have the best dad ever.
I however, gave up blaming my parents for my issues long long ago, about the time I had my first child. I realize that I own all the good and bad in me. I tried to explain this to dad, but I guess it's hard for a parent to see their child go through hard times. I think it's time to make a trip to Hallmark! Hey, I care enough to send the very best!!
I do know two people right now who think that their life is as it is due to no fault of their own. Oh well, what can you do?

Calvin = my sister-in-law.
Given any opportunity to make a good choice or a really, really poor choice, she always makes the poor one. But it's never, ever her fault.
