it's been on the fritz since last week. I can't get Outlook to work and every time it opens it freezes up the whole dang computer.
I hate computer issues. Especially now being at home I can't just call over the computer guy to come fix it.
Not sure how to get Outlook to work.....I hate the thought of reinstalling and losing everything. Ugggg!!! What to do.....I'm thinking throwing it out the window won't make it any better....right?

We just bought it in November....so it's new and shouldn't be giving me trouble. I think it's just something with outlook and not the whole 'puter????
Rando, kidding about the mac right?

Eudora = the shiznit
What operating system?
You don't lose everything when you reinstall the OS, it just writes over the previous version of the OS. Unless you want to reformat your hard drive, then you'll lose everything.

uggg...I know I got some, but not sure when it was....so at least I wasn't being rude and not writing back, right? I'm sure I'll get it figured out soon...
PH..the computer has XP. So if I'm having this problem with Outlook, who would I contact for tech service, Microsoft? I tried our cable provider and thought it might have been something with that but it's not the problem apparently. What a pain!

I was SO not kidding. Once you go mac, you'll never go back. My next home computer will most surely be a mac.

Have you installed any new software recently? Done a virus scan? Scanned for misc. junk?
You can do a system restore from a previously working version if none of that fixes the problem. Kristin is better qualified to answer XP questions than I am though.
