First of all, I’d like to say that these stories about cycling being an unhealthy or even dangerous activity are not based on scientific evidence. If we look things from that point of view every sport can be dangerous, because while you run a car might hit you and swimming can be dangerous because what if you get cramps in the deep water and drown. So, cycling is perfectly healthy. Moreover, it is even recommendable for people with diabetes and even prostate problems. You’re right about the saddle position and height. The basic thing is that the difference between handlebar and saddle shouldn’t be more than 5 centimeters. You should make only small adjustments, for example 1 centimeter and ride for a while and see if it fits. As for the position, I know that angle has to be almost horizontal.
