My next race is next weekend (August 7). I am seriously pumped since I don't have to worry about my guts falling out this time and I'm in way better shape than I was just three weeks out of hospital for my first.

BTW, my first tri sucked too. I had a 2nd degree tear in my hamstring from a waterskiing accident.

Actually, I had a great first race. I just hadn't counted on a ruptured appendix four weeks before.

Yeah, because there's only eleven people signed up! They moved the venue last minute and I think it's going to hurt them. This race is part of the TriBC points series so I'll probably be racing against a bunch of hard core dudes. Look for me at the back of the pack.
