I say no because no matter how you go about it, there will be some evidence.
Science and technology are so advanced in the field of forensic science that even one fiber from clothing, or one hair, or a few skin cells can tattle on a killer. Sometimes they don't even need a body to figure it out.
I watch a lot of Discovery Channel.
And my favorite color is RED!

You ask because you are planning something?
No, because I've been thinking about it.

even if i leave dna samples at the crime scene - if i follow my objectives - the authorities will not have anything to match the dna with (they will not know it's mine)

That's true - and if you had not previously committed any crimes that would make you part of a database, you would be impossible to find.
But even if you were to kill someone without touching them - by poisoning them or something - there would be records of purchase of poison, etc.

No, I'd end up confessing. All that Catholic guilt has done a number one me.

No, I couldn't get away with it. I am one crappy liar, and I don't know if I could bring myself to kill someone if they weren't doing something like trying to kill me!!!
RED is also my favorite color. Although I also like black.

Hijack:
For those of you who are saying you couldn't do it, I think Prohemp is asking "do you think the perfect murder is plausible?", not if you would do it.
For the record, there's no way I could hurt anyone!
I now return you to your regularly scheduled thread.

Yes, you can get away with murder. It happens all to frequently. I don't think there is such a thing as a "perfect" crime. As SC said, there will always be some evidence left behind, and evidence that a crime was comitted makes it less than perfect. But I think unsolvable crimes are possible, and certainly, unprosecutable (not enough evidence, even though they're pretty sure you did it) crimes happen often enough.
