www.restaurant.com

for most restaurants, you can get $25 gift certificates for $10.

and if you use the coupon from this site,http://www.couponcabin.com/index.htm you can get 60% off you order. but it exprires today.

in my area, lots of the ultra nice places that matt and i like are on there as are lots of family style places and sports bars too.

even with out the coupon it seems like a good deal!

I've heard of a similar site where you can buy, sell, or trade gift cards that you don't want. I've heard of some pretty sweet deals, such as getting a $1k gift card for around $800. Allegedly, the way this works is when someone is given a card for something such as a wedding and they do not want anything from the store, they get rid of it for less. I think there would be a lot of illegal/stolen cards on there too though.

They run 50% off deals from time to time which allow you to purchase $25 G.C's for only $5. It is a good deal, but the Atlanta restaurants listed on the site are kinda of hit or miss. Make sure you read the fine print before committing to a purchase. Some of the G.C's you buy there are only available to use on certain days (weekdays) and/or for parties of four or more. Most of them do not appy to alcohol either, just the food portion of the bill.

That being said, I've bought some $25 certificates for less then $5 and used them successfully. Nice to take $25 off of a $100 tab at the end of the night. Smile

That is cool. There's not a lot in the Keys but a lot more up in Miami/Ft Lauderdale. Except my dear husband refuses to patronize chain restaurants.

Edited to add this is great! There's one for Basil!!!

Because most of the time you can purchase you can purchase a $25 gift certificate for only $10 (regular price on the web site). When they run a 50% sale (like they did last week), you can purchase that same exact $25 restaurant G.C. for only $5.

Don't know about the South Florida listings, but there are very few chain restaurants listed in the Atlanta area.
