That is very gracious of you, megawill. Knowing where you stood in this election, it is a class act on your part to extend congratulations.
Nobody in the country got all the people they voted for to win - darn near nobody I voted for won. I hope they have the attitude you (and I would certainly hope the RF peeps) have expressed. It would go a long way to getting things moving in this country.

Nice post mega.
Hope the Kerry campaign concedes today. If if ever provisional ballot is valid to be counted (which we know isn't the case), Kerry would have to win ~ 95% of them to catch Bush.

I agree, nice post Mega. I just don't feel like going out and shouting "Bush won".

I don't think it should go on ad nauseum, but I think every provisional ballot should be counted. If it's that close, it could make a difference. I know both parties want to be sure of it.

What about the provisional ballots that aren't legal? Surely, you aren't advocating voter fraud?
As I stated in the other thread - Kerry would have to win ~ 95% of the provisional ballots (assuming you counted all of them) to overtake W's lead in Ohio. It's over.

please, don't go overboard...
this may be the last positive thread you'll ever see me post on President Bush...
I do sincerely congratulate him for pulling it off, but I so severely think he is wrong on some many issues, I honestly can say that I fear the next 4 yrs of his leadership and how it will impact our nation for years to come...

3.5 million difference in the PV is pretty significant. Also over 50 % of the vote.

I don't agree with him on everything either, and I do have some concerns. But not nearly as many as I had about Kerry.....and you know that regardless which side of the fence either of us ever stood on, I always had the utmost respect for you because you're a class act and can leave politics behind when it comes to friendships, even online ones.
