Are you going/did you go this year? Its coming here mid August and I'm thinking about it, my drawback is that I would have to violate one of my recently created (and I know I'm getting old because I created it) rules about outdoor concerts: no lawn seats, real chairs only. But, I can't afford seats at this thing but I am slightly frightened of the crowd the lawn might bring
Anyway, it looks like a pretty good lineup, Anyone going?

I wantedto go, very badly, because I love Jane's Addiction. However, the tix here(before Ticketmaster service charges) were $63 and they were all lawn seats. That seemed a bit much.

Lollapalooza is in Pittsburgh this weekend. Not going. The Post-Gazette Pavillion is THE absolute worst place to see a concert (unless you're in the first 30 rows). It used to be second to Three Rivers Stadium.
I saw Janes Addiction at the first Lollapalooza at Blossom Ohio. (I'm old as dirt, yes.)

I would go just to see Audioslave. The only other band I have heard of is Jane's Addiction.
I am so not with it

I would love to go. I'm not sure how close they are coming to Baton Rouge, but it is a truly awesome lineup.

I saw them at the first two, but in Holmdel, NJ. I then partied afterwards with my man Henry Rollins. It was a childhood dream come true to see Siouxsie Sioux live. But hey, I'm not as old as dirt, so you can't be, either - besides, it was only 11 years ago ('92, right?).

I refuse to pay the ticket prices these days! And Cheryl thought she was getting old!
