to get here and install my cable or im going to be a very unhappy customer.

even with assisance from MW, we STILL do not have cable, internet, or phone. out of frustration and desperation, matt went out and bought us one of those anywhere wireless cards from sprint. the connection sucks, but at this point, it is better than nothing.

after MW made some phone calls, we had two techs out here on friday. then a rep called to say that someone would be out today between 2 and 5. well its 4:17 and i have yet to see or hear from anyone from comcast.

when the rep called on friday, i saved his number. it looks like im about to make some phone calls. Mad

all i know is that less than 24 hours after i emailed her my issues, TWO techs were at my house. they didnt do what they were supposed to do, but they were still there.

We got back in May, and we aren't real happy with it. It goes out sometimes. They figured out the problem but have no solution.

I at least know how to get the service back up and running.

We may be switching phone/internet from Comcast soon Mad

WELL.

we still dont have internet, cable, or phone.

BUT, at least this time i actually talked to the comcast guy.

turns out that the main tap thing for the whole area (how big that is, imnot sure) is in our front yard and theres nowhere to add a new line four hour house. apparently thats what the first three people were supposed to take care of but didnt. so this guy tonight, who was very nice and understanding of my frustration, made a maintenance request to have them come out and put in the new tap thing. tomarrow. then he will come back on wed to hook everything up.

im calling comcast tomarrow morning to confirm this with a manager. and ill call everyday untill something actually gets done.

the sad part is that comcasts customer service is WAY better than dish network. otherwise we would have had at least tv by now. Neutral

Stop paying $$ to that incestuous behemoth that is Comcast for TV......I made the switch to dish network, it's cheaper and better........atleast make the switch to RCN. Verizon is working (trying with not much success) it's way into the cable TV business in Jersey but I would not hold my breath for PA.
