So, as many of you know, I am a coffee lover. I could drink it all day, well most of the day anyway.
I'm trying to cut back on my caffeine intake, and the wife bought me some of that "lite" or whatever it's called 1/2 caffenated stuff. It's not too bad, but it's not as good as my normal java.
My question: Which would be better?
1. Drink the half caf stuff, and have a good half pot a day.
2. Go back to good old fashioned full strength stuff, and hold yourself to just a couple of cups?
Opinions? I am thinking this will keep my caffeine level about the same either way.

I'm thinking go with the full strength stuff and cut back. Quality before quantity!

We had to cut all caffeine out of our diet due to a medical request. We just buy the expensive stuff in decaf and drink that all day. (Seattle's Best is our absolute favorite!!)

I'd go for quantity myself. I really need to cut back.

...buy yourself some really good full strength stuff (Seattle's Best is yummy) and make a smaller pot in the morning, and then that's it. Quality far and away exceeds quantity.
......except with chocolate. You try and cut back my chocolate and someone's gonna get seriously hurt!

why do you want to cut back? is it causing you any problems?
I often ponder this same question and at times have switched over to decaf or a 1/2 decaf blend...but i have to say that 'good' coffee is truly a pleasure of mine and unless the doctor were to warn me off of it, I ain't giving it up...

Yeah, if I was a heart patient and the doc told me to stop I would quit. But what harm is caffiene? I love good coffee, it is one of the few vices I have left--but it ain't a vice.

First off, that is NEVER the solution, coach!!!!
I'd just try to cut back. Of course, I'm throwing in 1/2 decaf into my coffee and it seems to be working well. I only shakes for a two hours now....

I don't have a problem, I can stop eating chocolate any time I want to.
Now you'll excuse me while I fish around for that brown paper bag in the bottom of my desk drawer.....
