Ok. What have you changed in opinion about drastically within the last 5-10-20 years?

Me: I used to abhor chocolate covered cherries. And strawberries and chocolate. Now, I like them.

Any drastic changes in your life?

So much has changed for me from being a SAHM one day and owning my own business the next. I have learned to manage money better for one thing. I also have learned to deal with stress much better and work under it quite well.

I couldn't pin point specifics for you, but I can tell you with absolute certainty that I am not the person I was 5 years ago.

20 years:June 7, 1985...20 years ago today I received my HS diploma
Went to FSU Aug. '85...big moment for me to learn who I really was and get out of my dysfunctional family life
Started running 3 miles a day and haven't stopped since.
April 29, 1989...16 years ago...I received my BS in Education
Both big moments in my life
1st full time job to follow
Moved to OH
Married in '91

10 years:
Another full time job
Had my first child in '95
Had second child in '99

5 years:

Move to SC
Had third child in '01
Move to AZ
3rd full time job
Now divorced in '05

All pretty significant things that have happened in the last 20 years. Amazing.

I cannot believe all that I've done since June 7, 1985...20 years today.

Yes, I never forget a date.

I now see the value of relativism, whereas I used to be more absolutist. I know what I still want to work on, and I know what's not going to change about me.

2002:
Quit my job and moved to Oklahoma to be closer to my parents

2003:
Became severely allergic to seafood and strawberries Confused

2004:
Got fired and became a full-time college student
Learned
Lost 60 lbs
Changed my view and the way I treat people with severe disabilities. One little boy taught me the world's problems can be solved with sharing a box of goldfish crackers, cartoons, holding hands, and great big hugs. He taught me compassion and unconditional love in a matter of 5 minutes.

2005:
Decided to go on a missions trip to Africa (Spring 2006)

See if you can borrow one of those laptop dvd player things from someone you know.
just don't bring any plane crash movies, or the first season of Lost on DVD... Wink

I want to go to Africa very very much.

meanwhile, I'm with Achey on this thread, just reading, no real changes.

Come now, you've changed the whole future direction of your life! No longer are you content to sit in a Houston High Rise overlooking rabid pigeons and birds.
