Posted: 11/05/02 - 12:54 Post subject: blue's day off. (or how i got cancelled)
well today was one of them weather days.
i was up at 7 to find out if i was either a) bussing or b)taking my dad's car. the car allows me to go back to sleep til 8 and be at my 10 oclock shift. the bus i have to hustle for.
so i had to take the bus. i'm ready to go. i noticed the roads are snowed on so i call in at 8 to confirm my start time. i've been pushed back to 1130. doesn't surprise me too much (this is expected).
back to sleep for about an hour (well sorta asleep). wake up. i'll call to confirm 1130, i've been pushed back to 12, i asked if i'm gonna be in for a short shift or what the deal is, i'm told "if" i'm brought in i'll get my hours.
make my lunch, got all my stuff together so i can get out there door in 3 minutes notice. i call to confirm my 1200 shift after a 10 minute nap.
i don't have to go into work, i'd been pushed back til 2 and they probably would've pushed me back more. they said i could come in at 430 to close for the sake of getting a couple hours, but there wasn't much point and i wouldn't need too.
so i guess today is my first day off. and i'm goin' to my g/f's hockey game tonight. i think i'll go watch a movie now.
i'll be checkin' in later. heheh (for the record i'm not complaining - but i wish i had a sports ticker on my tv that told me when i had to work)

lol not today i'm not. (running that is)
i wanna get goin' again. i haven't in a long time, i think i don't like the idea of really short runs (i can't run like i used to), with my pirformis the way it is i just can't run for long on a regular basis without aching like an old man for the rest of the week...
maybe once i get a fixed workskeddy (that i haven't had in 6 months) i'll do better?
