I have no idea if any of this is good, bad, or indifferent but I have a gadget and I am PROUD!
23.8 km (very hilly, headwind first 10k)
time: 1:06
top speed 51.0 km/h (this was just before I soiled myself)
How trustworthy is the odometer on a bike computer? I would have sworn that route was longer than that.

Good ride Shannon, the computers are relatively accurate. Is it wireless?

If it's calibrated correctly, it can be extremely accurate.

There is a wire running down the front fork to the sensor. Does that make it wireless?

No. Wireless means that there's no wire from the fork to the computer.

Wow. I had no idea there was such an animal. Hubby's measures more stuff than mine (cadence, among other things) and he has wires running all over his bike.
