Here's the bike. It's a tri bike with road bike qualities. If you look at it, you'll see. It can cover the longer distances for longer rides if needed. It's not your bottom of the line bike...fits right towards the top end of your lower priced bikes (if you get that).

I get it in 2 weeks.

It took 3 hours to discuss what my needs and wants were with the bike...measurements...getting all the "stuff" to go with it...looking at places to cycle around the communitiy...etc.

The guy I worked with was great and took his time talking to me...explaining things. When my bike comes in, I'll have a 2 hour session to discuss maintainance...repairs...he'll make adjustments...show me how to use the clips...etc. I felt very comfortable with everything today. Spent a little more than planned, but overall felt good.

This shop has group rides together on weekends. I liked that.

Here it is...

Very nice bike Noley! Cool You will love it I'm sure. When I first got mine last fall I had it in the house if I wasn't riding and sometimes I would take it from room to room with me just so I could look at it. Embarassed I'm a dork. Neutral Razz

You'll need to change that rear cassette from a 12-26 to an 11-23 to get the respect of any bike snob. Razz

Congrats! Should last you a long time.

Do y'all think it's a good one? Check out the components on one of those pages I copied and let me know. I believe so.

The guy took one look at me and told me the style of bike...brand...everything. I liked how he spent time asking me questions about what my goals with it were.

Oh...and mine is black.

SWEET! Cool

Nice component spec (105/Ultegra drivetrain = thumbs up).

And the shop sounds like a keeper - customer service like that is tough to find (at least in the shops I've dealt with).

I'm not the only C-Dale owner 'round these parts anymore... Very Happy

The guy told me that a Cannondale would probably be the best fit for me due to my build. I was impressed that he knew what bike would be that for me just by looking at me. And then he took the time to explain/show me why by pointing it out with the bikes.

I really liked the shop and was glad not to get caught up into a few of the National Chains where I believe I wouldn't have been given much attention. I liked even better when they knew people walking in by first name. Very Happy

I won't even buy a pair of pink Asics ON SALE!! Wink

I was given two choices. Black or Baby Blue.

Black was it.

I'd wear pink shoes for a big discount.

And PH is complaining about weak colors?
