Right after the birth of a baby can be an overwhelming time; lots of people to call, vistors not to mention suddenly having this little person to care for. Maybe she just hasn't had a chance to call. When our son was born I forgot to call my best friend until the next day. Big oops.

She's got my number, too, but I will be stepping out in a few minutes. I'm sure she's doing just fine, though. No doubt we're pretty low on the phone tree pecking order.

I won't spoil her thunder but I just now heard from her and all is well!
I told her to hurry up and post because everyone has been asking about her. I think she has the laptop at the hospital.
