im wondering if galyans is about to be out of business and is still in denial.
theyve had a major clearance sales going on since right before xmas. today i purchased a $160 snowboarding coat for only $65!!! and i got some running shorts and two shirts all half price! one of them is nice enough to make ph jealous. its a white background with this obnoxious red flower print all over the body of the shirt. it was only $5!
and they even have north face apparel and some nike stuff on sale too, but not nearly as discounted as other brands.

I love Galyan's, but in fairness, there aren't any Dick's around here* either, so I have nothing to compare to except The Sports Authority and REI (which rocks BTW).

We have way too many Dick's around here, none of which, however, sell sporting goods. We don't have a Gaylan's either.

This is so wierd. You know, I never saw Dick's until we moved to Charlotte. Then we move back here, and they're poppin up all over the place.
I personally like Galyan's better, although they're uber-expensive.

We have Dicks and Galyans. Dicks is way cheaper than Galyan's although I think Galyan's product line is better. Dick's is closer to my house, though.

Went by to check out Galyans today at lunch. They had some stuff on sale, but nothing caught my eye.
