My back hurts. That's the bottom line. Even sitting at my desk, i feel some spasms from the right side of my back. Now, if this gets worse or continues for an extended period of time, i'll go to a doctor, but this is only day one.
The question is: does anyone have any sort of home remedies that i can try? Heat? Ice?

Heat worked for me. That and lying on my stomach.
Do not know if you have any weight on you, so I can only speak from personal experience here. Since July 2002, I changed my lifestyle in that I started running, and adjusted what I ate. I found that once I lost about half the weight I have (I've lost some 70 pounds, more or less), the back spasms went away and haven't come back.
Best of success to you on the back thing.
