a card for a friend whos boyfriend just dumped her:
they are always there on your front porch waiting for you
no matter what mood youre in, they always greet you with a smile
every year, a whole new crop to choose from
one makes a better pie
if you dont like his looks, you can just carve him a new face
if he starts smelling up the place, you can just toss him in the street
squash is a source of beta carotene and thats good for you
you know a pumpkin has an empty mush filled head from the get go.
a pumpkins turned on only when you want him to be.
