Ok.
You're on a 100 mile trail run. You come to the fork in the road.
If you go LEFT: it's all downhill and will easily cut off 10 miles off cross counry.
If you go RIGHT: It's a rocky up and down trail, but it doesn't add any additional distance to your run.
Both forks keep you at a 100 mile legitimate race. What do you choose?
