I cannot for the life of me understand why these things are used for any type of advertising or entertainment?

I just came back from good ol' Quiznos. Happy to report, no rodent-like creatures with buck teeth in or around my food.
Excellent broccolli cheese soup, though. YUM!!

Whover developed these "creatures" needs to be put away for a while. At least until the voices stop in their head.
Interesting how the "songs' " lirics seem to be written by Phoebe Bouffe.

As disgusting as those little creatures are, this was a stroke of advertising genius. More people are talking about them and Quiznos than the Presidential Primary.

I don't know though, I'm talking about them but the last thing they make me is hungry for Quiznos, much less anything... Why they are associated with food, I'll never understand. "Hey, we found these furry things living in a nest in the back of the kitchen next to where we keep the chips and we thought they'd be the stars of our next ads..."

I'm no advertising guru, but I've heard more than once that name recognition is the big thing. It may be more true for individual products rather than restaurants, but I think the goal of advertising is to keep the name on your mind.
Personally though, I'm with you. A few weeks ago I had the most delicious Quiznos sandwich. A few days later I saw the genetic freaks. I'm not so wild about getting another sandwich from Quiznos.
