There is catnip growing ALL over my yard (I planted three seeds four years ago - who knew that technically it's a weed?) and Peter the yard tiger spends most of his days happily stoned out of his mind. I caught him listening to Jimmy Buffett yesterday and eating ice cream straight from the container. My toes are no longer safe because he stalks me when I"m moving the sprinkler, only to disappear back into the catnip bushes that are growing in every corner of the property.
I have four cats, but just this one seems to have developed a real addiction. Poor guy when fall comes; he may have to wean himself onto the bagged pet store stuff. It's just not the same after home grown.

That is freekin' hilarious.

You'll have to make his little tuna biscuits with an "added" ingredient in order to keep him happy.

What are the withdrawl symptoms from catnip?

If it's sleeping twelve hours at a stretch, mood swings and occasional hairball expulsion it will be business as usual.
