no offense brie...I think you look great.

I don't wear cutesy VS bras, I wear over the shoulder boulder holders.
Usually with 3 or 4 hooks in the back and extra wide straps. Some straps even have cushions to help prevent them from digging into your shoulders
from holding up so much weight. And of course they always cost more.

Then there are sports bras. Mad I have bought numerous sports bras over the last few years all costing between $40-50. One of these hideous contraptions had 15 hooks in the front. Shocked Most all of them sucked.
Any run longer than 10 miles and I had chafing all over the place. I would literally tear up in the shower because of the pain. My doctor has even made a note in her file because every year she was asking me what the marks all over my boobs were. Embarassed

sorry if this post was TMI Embarassed Embarassed

I really am sorry for this.

Have you thought about reduction? Duh, I'm sure you have. I have to tell you, the surgery to get them bigger was a cakewalk.

Our resident reduced mamma can help you with this, but you've probably already discussed this with her as well.

Again, I am sorry. Doesn't sound good at all.

too bad

Amen sista. Tell it.

Built in bra? no such thing, for me anyway. I wish VS made anything that came even close to being "supportive" for me or for that matter, even fit me. I haven't found a sports bra that works. I have found that 2 of the $40 sports bras, one on top of the other, works most effectively. Of course, the bruises it causes on my shoulders ensures I'll be wearing the "shoulder padded" one the next day. You know, the hot little 5 hook number. I don't even want to get into my jealousy that some people don't chafe.

Reduction: probably not until after I have kids, if ever.

I feel your pain, poky. I literally feel your pain. I've had so many incidents of When Sports Clothes Attack that I look like I've crawled through barbed wire. My husband thinks I fought in the mine fields of Bosnia. High mileage, while great for the legs, is bad for the torso's skin. I have one - ONE - sports bra (the Champion Shape) that doesn't tear me to pieces, but it still chafes my sides because I wear it a size too small to keep The Twins in. The worst: I got really torn up by a new tank during a 22 miler two weeks ago and had to take it off. I'd never run in just a sports bra before; nothing quite like running the last 4 miles of that constantly flexing my pecs to compensate for the reduced cinching. Damn, did I hurt after that one. I also remember that my chest hurt more than my feet after I ran my marathon.

I've determined that the bandaid/neosporin method reduces scarring. But it gets a little ridiculous when your bandaids start numbering in the 20s after just one long run in humidity.

You ladies are making me wince in pain. I won't ever wish to be larger again. I'll stick to the Miracle Bras and be thankful they are removable.

I refuse to enter the boob fray but if I did, this would be the thread.

People (men AND women here) are too flip titilated when it comes to anything booby. Seems so sophomoric after a while. Don't get me wrong, was entertained at first but ultimately not.

quick edit to say, that sorry i chose this thread to vent poky... at least your thread wasn't intentionally shocking nor titilating as Adelstein indicated unacceptable by Janet/Justin (as the FCC says is objectionable on CBS)

If you have children and nurse them, there's a good chance things will get smaller on their own afterward.
