"I did it! I did it! Mr. Clark, I did it!"
that was from one of my students with real discipline problems. he's in 2nd grade, and today they are playing a simple song on the xylophones "Mother, Mother" They like singing it and it's making them proud that they can play it too. Im being tough about it, not helping them at all, just gave them the tools to figure it out.
that's a good feeling when they accomplish something.
