<drumroll please>
Thats right, me!!!! Dancing Banana Who else would book an e-ticket for the day before the intended flight, not realize it until she gets to the airport to check in and the nice man (while trying not to laugh in her face) says "this was yesterday", thus missing her entire weekend trip altogether? No one. Only me. Embarassed Confused Mad

I'd like to thank the academy....my calendar....my inattention to detail....the continental airlines man for making at attempt to not laugh in my face....

Evil or Very Mad I'll be in Houston this weekend if you need me. Evil or Very Mad

No and I have to say they actually tried too. Every carrier is booked with the except of a 3 connection $1500 ticket thing that would get me in after the wedding I was going to tonight.

yeah, my friends I had to call to not get me at the airport, etc etc are all rolling at my expense right now. Serves me right. I'm a genius.

I actually put on the dress I bought for the wedding and came to work. What a schmuck am I?? But might as well redeem the vacation day, they don't give me many.

Nole--no! not in the wedding! I would have been a basketcase!! The only wedding I was in that i had to fly to I flew in 3 days ahead. Just in case. Shocked (I'm slightly paranoid)

Well I'm really sorry you missed your flight thus screwing up your entire weekend apparently. However you made me laugh out loud which was something I so needed today. Thanks. Mr. Green

You know, there is a reason for everything. One reason I might have missed the flight was the raukus laughter everyone bursts into when I tell them. Or the other might be that I'm going to win the $145 Million Texas Lotto tomorrow night, because otherwise I wouldn't have bought a ticket. I'm sure its the second one even if the first seems more true...
