How shall I respond to a $6.99 shipping charge that I was expecting.
I was thinking a big THANK YOU for the added bonus!!!!! Any thoughts?
Sue,
This charge is indeed a shipping charge! Thank you for the E-mail!
Thank you for the opportunity to serve all your running needs. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to respond to this E-mail, or call me at the phone number below.

Subject: second invoice
I ordered a pair of shorts on 5/14, received confirmation number 2240235 with total of $28.99 no shipping cost as I used an online code. I received a follow-up invoice showing 28.99 charged to my credit card. Today, I received a second invoice #260604 and a charge of $6.99. It doesn't say what it is for, but I'm assuming that a shipping charge is being added on. Please confirm what this charge is for and also advise why I'm being charged this second invoice.
Thank you in advance
Sue Pierson

I'm not even sure if the RR room is big enough for a safe distance.
I know on my tapers i feel like i am PMSing, does not much to cause an extra BOOM.

Here's your response:
Mark,
Bite me.
Sue.
Couldn't you get the credit card folks to drop that charge? (I'm naive in the credit card racket, so I must plead ignorance... your joke here)

Yup I'd agree, call your credit card and dispute the charge. Even if you end up paying it, you'll cost them more than $6.99 in trouble... Vindictive little bugger, ain't I?
PS. I think that is a PERFECT response...

How 'bout we each send Mark an e-mail that says if he doesn't reverse the charge he'll never get a bit of business again from any of us...

I was thinking almost the same lines.
Dear Mark,
I'm so amazed by your well thought out response, that I thought I'd share it with my running forum pals. Thank you again for taking time to looking into this and providing me with a complete answer.
Being a parent, I am pretty familiar with avoiding anwering the "why" questions?, myself.
Most appreciative

Did you use the Runningforums.com Hot Deals code of CCC1202?
I just checked and it still works.
I've had this happen too...can't remember if it was NRC or not, but anyway, I'd email them the code and say you want it applied to your order since apparently it didn't stick the first time. This approach has worked for me.

no..that one came expired on me. I did a search and found another one. (can't find where I wrote it down). I had done a google search for free ship national running center (I hate high shipping). Of course if I do the search now---nothing. Nor can I get into my account that would show what I used.
don't be surprised if you get a second invoice in a few days, JR!
