Posted: 07/19/05 - 12:35 Post subject: all i want is a freakin' haircut...
well i was *gunna* get my hair cut funky, with some color, and do something creative for once.
but then i thought, money is a little bit tight - i can hold off. plus i really just need a good haircutting so i'm not sweltering in the heat.
i decided not to go to my regular place anymore, the lady that normally cuts my hair (for the past 10 years) is hardly there anymore and i don't trust the other scissorjockies working there. never mind that last time i went there - it was 4 oclock, the door was locked, and one girl was just sitting in there not doing anything - she didn't even move... that was the last straw.
so i go to the hair place that's like a 2 minute walk (where my dad converted too) and i can't get a damn appointment until tomorrow - but i'm going to a concert right after work - and the next one isn't til thursday.
well nuts to that. i call my cousin's hairplace - she works there (the one where i was originally gonna go with the coloring and stuff) except she friggin went home sick.
i just want a haircut. i'm tired of waiting for one. why can't people just cooperate for once?
ps. i forgot to get my lunchmeat on my way back from walking to the neighbourhood haircut place. i'm unimpressed.

Buy a trimmer at Wal-Mart for $15 that comes with three guides. You'll never pay to have a haircut again.
You can also get haircolor for $9. Test the color on your hair before your cut it so if it doesn't work right, you can buzz it and be done with it.

But never ever use the one marked "blending" unless you're going for the chemo look. I'm just sayin.

Maybe I'm just showing my age here, but is there such a thing as a "barber shop" in your locale ?
I've never had a problem getting a cut when I wanted. Might have had to wait a while in the shop. I've probably a lot less than what you're ready to pay a stylist. (OK, but I don't get my hair dyed - grey is good enough)

Dunno 'bout your barber, but mine doesn't do coloring.

I cut my husbands hair. I can't get you in until tomorrow tho, I've got to do something, or something.
