anyone?
several people keep trying to convince me this is a great idea. Kayaking and mountain bikes and orienteering....
call me a stick in the mud but I'd rather do a triathlon.

Stick in the mud. Both tris and Adventure sound like a lot of fun! I'd love to do both. But, first Ironman then I can think about the other.

Your wide nose will act as a rudder when you're shooting down hill.

I just like to make sure I understand the mocking in my general direction is all, and you lost me at rudder.

I did one run, bike, paddle crawl through the muck.
Big fun took maybe 12 hours.
Careful - next thing I know I'm running 50 and 100 milers

mountain biking!
my son and husband bought really nice mountain bikes and on their first mountain ride, well, my husband wiped out kinda bad.
when i saw my son, who got to me first, he said "he wrecked and he's bloody"
apparently, son had to pry dad out of a large briar bush. and there was some blood involved.
we laughed alot, but not till later.
do the tri.
signed,
the original stick in the mud.
i got dibs on the mountain bike though.

Do it. Mountain biking isn't hard, and for most offroad duathlons, triathlons, and adventure races they put you on very easy trails. Though I'd definitely give it a try before signing up.
