WTR - where's your source on the story (not necessarily a link)? Do they know what the motive was?
If he's sane, and gets convicted, prison will take care of him. I'm assuming that if it was here (Illinois), we still have a DP moratorium.

It's probably just me, but I think one just about has to be insane to be able to take the life of one's own offspring.

we've had two mothers murder children with serious disabilies here in the last few months
just makes me want to puke sometimes -
