So said my boss. She is the coolest. She knows the pressures I've been under here at work from el presidente, stupid sales guy, and the entire conversion team to train whover whenever on whatever within three separate systems. She knows that my piece-of-crap PC running WINDOWS 95 is hindering my abilities for small things, like writing, maintaining, and producing the training manuals for all training classes. She knows I'm a perfectionist who strives to do the best job possible and that as such I cannot stand when people blindside me with info I should have known months ago, but am only privy to today.
She also clearly knows when I've had enough. She called me into her office and said, "Go ahead - b!tch. You have carte blance." 15 minutes later I felt better, and she said "Why don't you knock off early today and go run? You've earned it, and have put in a lot of extra hours lately. Seriously, you better go or you're gonna snap!"
I am so lucky to have such a great boss who knows me so well and cares about me as a person, not just as an employee. I'm even starting to get out of my bad mood.

You are lucky, elkid. In May, I used one sick day, the first sick day I've used in almost ten years, and management here threw a major fit. And they wonder why I'm so PO'd...
