Sadly, I failed the technical test yesterday. Embarassed


and the people here at work would have you believe that I built Microsoft from the ground up or something

this is why I go into circuit city and act all girlie, like I don't know what I'm doing, so if a mistake is made, it isn't mine. I know, devious!! mwahahahaahaaaaa

I'd never seen the B or G on the router & accessory boxes before, we evidently bought our B when it was the only one out there.

Is that the problem you had, that you had the wrong one?

I'm pretty sure that my issue is that the laptop's OS is too old (it's still on Windows 95). The card and router were purchased together, and both are B, so I shouldn't have a problem with that.

I'm hoping to upgrade the OS sometime this week, and then I'll take it from there.

Woulda been nice to have had OS compatibility somewhere in the documentation though even though everyone else I've talked to seemed to know this already
