 I'm reading the 1st Corinthians 13 reading thats in a lot of weddings 'Love is patient, Love is kind...' in my good friend's wedding tomorrow. Great, I'm flattered and happy to do it. Except that I got a sinus infection earlier this week and now its in my lungs. Lots of coughing. And a nasal/scratchy voice. You know, really attractive, solemn, reverent and ideal for a phone sex line. Or a wedding. 
I think I can get the scratchy voice in acceptable shape....but any REEALLY fast ways to get all this junk out of my lungs so I stop this nasty cough, and preferably before I see the bride at 2pm today? I don't want to be the one who causes the day-before-panic attack  Besides OD'ing on Robitussin DM I'm thinking of going out for some sprints even though I can't really breathe. That should at least break it up.  Me and my immune system. When I get back from this trip I'm buying a bubble for me to live in.

If you're going to have a microphone, you don't have as much to worry abouit - you won't have to talk loud, so your voice will sound better.

I have the same thing going on, minus the wedding. I can recommend keeping the throat bathed by continuous sucking on Ricola. I prefer the lemon drops. They do seem to help.

i'm just guessing here, but you never took the colloidal silver now did you miss?? 
love is patient, love never hacks or spews phlem on the podium
try the Ricola drops, really. and a cough medicine with an expectorant might loosen it up but it might get worse before it gets better if you take the expectorant.
