I've got a bra I've had for at least 10 years and hasn't failed to support me yet. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.....

Dude, welcome to my nightmare. I have cuts, scrapes, and scars all over me. I look like I ran naked through a battlefield, no lie. My problem is the seams/labels on my cheapo bras. Petroleum jelly helps, but for races/long runs Body Glide seems to be the way to go. Not that I use it, but so I've heard. As my chest gets smaller from weight loss, the problem is getting worse. 
Ironically I get scars from carrying my key in my shorts pocket, too.

I been running for 24 years and haven't found one sports bra that doesn't cause me chaffing on a long hot run. What do I do? Vaseline---loads of it!
On a daily run I don't need as much but before a marathon I would lather the vaseline all over the bra area and even put some right on the bra--and yes-- it does stain the bra but I don't care. I'd rather be comfy then stylish!

Bodyglide is definitely good. On the bra thing, I can't find a good one either. Especially now that I'm breastfeeding--what a pain getting back into running while doing that!

I have a great Donna Karan one (underwire)
The only problem is that it has a seam going vertically across the....uh boobage.
I forgot to Body Glide.....uh the breastage area once (JUST ONCE  ) and almost had a nipple-ectomy!

these are also common in the early days of breastfeeding! I never heard the term though....but it sounds about right!!!!
