ponder if you will...
i think that if i graduated high school at the age of 15, spent a few years in europe doing ballet, and was generally regarded as an uptight biatch that did really well in school because i obsessed about it, and regarded most of the class as nice people but slightly on the moronic side....
well i think that i wouldn't go *YES* (Superstar style) in front of the whole class when i got my paper that said 100%. especially in accounting.
to explain: our favorite high strung "ohmigodjustbarelyanA+" girl (and my number one competition) got perfect in accounting. turned around and wasn't very subtle at all about her exasperation.
daggers flew.
to make life a little more interesting she got 96% in math, tied for second best with a fellow student whom she asked just last week if he had "some kind of a problem with math?".
oh and as for who got the 100% in math? it was moi (mildly embarassed at that - but at least people were happy for me and clapped).
maybe i should celebrate next time too?
the girl sure knows how to work a crowd.

I know that girl. There's one in every class. I don't like her much. Good for you for having class AND getting good grades. contrary to drama queen's beliefs, yes it is possible

she's extra special. lol. she breaksout awaiting marks. i mean she is a nice person, she's just got some issues to work with. i do my best not to anger her because it serves me better that way.
maddie - nope that's another girl. lol we have since recovered.

I think you're being a bit judgmental here, Blue. When I was in college the first time (when Libby was little), I was very high strung (still am to a degree, but different I guess). Grades were Uber-Important (I remember crying in my advisor's office because I'd gotten an 86 on a test). I worked my ass off for my grades -- studied very hard for everything. K, they still are and I still do! Sounds like this girl is like that. Maybe she's not a nice person, or maybe she's misunderstood. Maybe she just has high expectations for herself and is a bit of a twit, but wouldn't it be great if everyone in college worked so hard as she?
I want to hear your stories about school because I'm a bit jealous but I think you're a bit hard on this particular female. The other one, the "anal" one, however, is an idiot.
Anyhoo. Congrats on the 100 in Accounting! You. Rock!
