says a woman in the bathroom at the movie theater.
All but the last soap dispensers (in a line of 6) were out of soap. As soon as she tried the first one in the line, I notified her that they're all out "except this one". She proceeds down the line, trying them all. She says "oh, you mean they're all out?" "Yes, except the one I just used".
Ok...so other ladies have the same trouble and as I'm drying my hands the non believer says
"THE WORST experience of my life was I had soaped up my hands in a McDonald's in France and there was no water to rinse". What a tough life for her. I just giggled and moved on out.
I wasn't sure if I laughed because:
A) This woman was in FRANCE and was WILLINGLY inside a McDonalds
B) Giggly to know the problem with french body odor isn't the fact that they have no soap, it's because they have no water 
C) She is so incredibly naive that she thought this was the WORST experience of her life

I don't know how naive Americans end up in France. I really don't. You think that by the time you're an international traveller, you have had some pretty bad experiences. At least a story better than water/soap related.

If that as bad as her life ever gets she should be damned thankful. However, someone that sheltered is too cluless to appreciate it.
