What do you consider "having a life" or "being alive" or "living life to its fullest"?

Ultimately I think you set your own limits to living life to the fullest. I think I'm doing alright for myself. My comments are mostly kidding, I just read what I post sometimes and think "gee, thats not what most 25 year old single girls are doing..." but thats not always a bad thing either as I learned last weekend after going out with some of the girls for the first time in a while
I think living life to the fullest means meeting your potential, using your talents, exploring the unknown.
On the other hand, I think 'having a life' means looking cool.

And you do! Wow, what a life you lead!
I was mostly asking because I had been thinking about this myself. (I knew you were kidding--you're too busy to not know you're living!!) I was just wondering what others thought about this and if they felt they "had a life".
Sometimes, I don't feel I have a life. But, I know other women who would love to be in my position. I think it's perspective, for sure.

What do you consider "having a life"
not having to use external substances to make one happy
"being alive"
making a difference every day in whatever I do
"living life to its fullest"
No regrets

I think it's all about fulfillment. I feel like I am living life to it's fullest right now, because I'm very satisfied. I have 3 kids, 1 husband, 1 home, 2 vehicles, 4 computers, 4 college courses and 1 big heart full of gratitude that I get to do pretty much what I want to be doing. Sure, there are days that are more trying than others, and I do have aspirations to be something different as I get older (such as employed, LOL), but for the most part, I am where I want to be. I think that's what it's all about, feeling fulfilled, regardless where you are and what you're doing.

I think "having a life" means having time to do the things you want to do. The times I felt like I didn't have a life were when I was really busy doing things that were not of my choosing.

Having/not having a life is a value judgment and can only be used in comparison with others.
Everyone has a life. They may choose to do something different with it than you do, however.
Likewise, I think being alive or living life to its fullest can vary between individuals.
