That was my response to the guy running next to me at the Janesville 1/2 marathon. As we round the last turn. I asked " is that the finish line?"
He says "yes, it is". I look at my watch, baffled.....and then someone yells "sprint for it". Okay. So I have a veryyyyyyyyyyyy questionable PR. With the hills and heat....I doubt that I would take 2 minutes off my time.

don't cha hate that when that happens? The overall male said that he was going to clock it...he felt the distance was accurate. He was strongly outnumbered and 2 minutes was like the magical number that runners seem to improve Mr. Green

ummm......I outsprinted the guy to the finish line????

I was like 16th or 17th OV, 1st Female. unofficial time 1:23:37 (add about 2 minutes IMHO). Winning male time was 1:09:xx

I always call times like that my "grain of salt" PRs. My feeling is that completely legit or not, you'll take it down pretty soon anyway Mr. Green
