This is the question one of the Firm partners posed to me about a half hour ago. Somewhat taken aback, I asked "In what way?" (read...did I screw up somewhere?)

"I mean financially."

I admitted that they were slightly tough at the moment as my son's father is not working (above the table that is) and is not paying any support. I could go after him, but they can't garnish wages that he doesn't earn so dunno I wait. Not a battle I have time or the hear to fight right now. Too many variables.

Turns out, Bruce is looking for someone that he trusts to take care of his house here in Maine while he in Florida. He's thinking of paying me to check on the house once a week to make sure the heat is on and no leaks are present. Bring the mail in...whatever.

Hmm, dunno why not?

Why not indeed! Sounds like a good opportunity!

say, while you're at it, could you peak in on my cats for the weekend? See, I'm going to be out of town....

He also said he had some provisions at camp that would not survive a freezing...I'm thinking like canned goods and boxes of stuff. Hey, any port in a storm I always say. Less I gotta shell out for.
