my final pay cheque from work.
so i can bank it, and watch it go towards random different things.
or i could use it for something memorable - ie. trip to Calgary for 3 games of hockey or part of a payment for a cruise to alaska
or i could use if for something useful - ie. invest in my business, part of a down payment on a house or car.
technically it doesn't matter where the money comes from - but it's a bit of a momento.
what do you guys think i should put it towards?
(i'm going to be smart and not piss it away on hockey cards and comic books. that's what my other money is for).
and no wise cracks about the cdn dollar either ya biotches.

I'm in a saving saving saving mood.
My advice? Save it--maybe toward a cruise for you and your girl.

They just got back from the House of Mouse!
If he spends this at all, it's on himself, baby.

this is me money... or significant investment in my life money.
not for the pleasure of others money (that's where all my money for the next 70 years is going :p)

save it for what?
i'm saving all my other money to buy a house, move out, get married, support the g/f through her last 2 years of schooling (and until she gets a teaching job), and trying to fund my own business
if i don't spend it soon, i'll never get too.

Ok. Mad Money. I can understand that.
How about a nice piece of furniture--maybe a nice desk for your new abode?
Maybe a watch?
Or buy some investments, just for kicks.

shelfie - i save pretty much all my money dood but the last big chunk went to the g/f's family vacation... i need to keep it for myself y'know?
it's a more a timeline thing, if i wait a few years to take in alaska, well i'll probably be waiting a lot longer if i have kids and other responsibilities
aire: funny you should mention a watch...
i think i could put it towards a house. that would be ok for me. can't buy an expensive desk - i don't have any space for it.
stocks is an interesting idea. would have some research to put in for that.
my g/f has also mentioned that maybe i should go see my friend when he goes to japan for a year... but that's pretty steep.
