I like to think that I am a good swimmer. I manage to achieve substantial speed. I don’t know how good it is as I have no other data to compare it with. What is your fastest swim time? I am asking it because it would give me some idea about good swimming time.

Well there are some pretty fast guys out there. My fastest swim time is 55.08 s for 100m. It is not a bad result but pales compared to the fast guys’ results. Tom Jager managed to swim 0:21.81 freestyle 50 meters. Mark Spitz swam 100m for 51:22s and David Holmes Edgar managed to reach the speed of 5.05 mph. They all averaged from 1.95 – 2.29 m/s. Now that’s what I call a speed.
