There is some confusion in media about coffeine. Some people claim that it can boost your energy and make your workouts more intense and productive. I have been drinking coffee for many years but have not felt any of those effects. Maybe I am not taking enough dose of coffeine. What is your daily dose of coffeine?

My daily dose of caffeine is – zero. I do not drink coffee and I do not take any ephedrine/caffeine supplements. I would advise you against it too. Caffeine only over stimulates your nervous system so you get the wrong impression that you have more energy. It masks your natural fatigue signal so you can train somewhat longer. However, all the fatigue and exhaustion will catch up with you later…and with vengeance! Caffeine stimulates excretion of minerals in your body, may cause temporary insomnia, high blood pressure, and has been reported to stimulate insulin resistance. Therefore, you see there is nothing good to say about caffeine.
