5 and 2 and it is 8:30 for both, although once school starts in the fall we might push it up to 8 PM.

Shouldn't they be in school at 800 and 900?

My son is 5 and I try to get him to bed by 8:00 but we have TKD 2x/week and it isn't over until 8:30 and he doesn't get to bed until 9:00. He typically is awake between 7 - 7:30 no matter what time he goes to bed.

7, 5 & 2... lights out a 9. We manage the different sleeping schedules by them getting up at different times...works for us.

I usually fell asleep reading to my kids when they were little and they would still be awake......

The son stays awake all night now....I told him he should just get a job at Mrs. Bairds Bread company on the 3rd shift....

The daughter now works at a club in Austin....who knows when she sleeps....

Wow!

All of your kids get to bed at great times. Some are in bed before I get back from the gym each night with my kiddos at 8:30pm. I know this is one of my parenting flaws. I guess they'll be like me...Night Owls.

My kids get to bed anywhere between 9-9:45pm. Or later!

My kids always knew if it was story time with dad, that I'd nod off and they could stay up later.

Juliet is 5 and I try to start her bedtime routine around 7:30. Brush teeth, books, prayers, snuggles. On fridays, I let her stay up late.

Don't be too hard on yourself. When her father and I were together and I had to be at the track or gym to workout at night, her bedtime wasn't until 9 or 9:30 too because I had to come home, prepare the dinner, and then get her to bed.
