Not a chance with this gut.
About the only thing I'd be worth shirtless is if you were to hang me from the ceiling and shine a light on me.

Last Thursday I did a brick (run-bike) workout and it was really cold on the bike so for the run I wore pants and a long sleeve shirt. Within 5 min I was so hot and didn't have anything but a jog bra on. My husband said take your shirt off and I said no way I only have a jog bra on. Well I took it off and ran in the jog bra and was so happy to cool off! I will only do that agian if I'm desperate I was way too uncomfortable! |
What's wrong with just running in a jog bra? It's the best way to stay cool when it's hot/humid in the middle of July or August. A jog bra is kinda like a (supportive) halter top in my opinion. Of course, all of mine are brightly colored, one-piece (no snaps, hooks/eyelets, etc.) and don't look anything like underwear.

I ALWAYS run shirtless! Well, except during our winter month when I'll put on a short sleeve t-shirt. It's just too dang hot and humid not to!

I run where we have like 2% humidity, so the Coolmax shirts don't get too wet. Mostly, I wear a shirt for sun protection because the rays can do more damage in less time at the higher elevation.
flarunner had me hitting the weights for the MC, so I might go shirtless for a few races this summer. But for regular training, I wear a shirt and hat in the summer for sun protection.
