25 years since their son was murdered.....I remember that, I just can't believe it's been 25 years. Neutral

Good people, hard work and tireless.

I admire him too.

I remember it all too well, living in Florida. I was 14 years old when it happened and at Wet 'n Wild when word got out. There were fliers put up everywhere with Adam's picture. I was very upset seeing them at the water park and felt so bad. I remember the line I was in...the window where I paid for my ticket into the park...and that picture, where it hung. This was the first time I had ever seen such attention on a missing child and the families I babysat for were all nervous about their children. I remember seeing his cute little face and missing teeth...and being so sad that he always wound up missing. Then to find him decapitated...OH THE HORROR!!!

It's hard to believe that Adam would now be 31 years old. I'm sure his parents don't live a single day out not thinking of him.

I agree. I saw a True Hollywood story or something like that recently about him, he's really amazing. To go through what he did and turn it into a way to really help other people amazes me.

I've seen John Walsh talk of his son in interviews today and he still gets choked up about him. I cannot imagine the feeling it is to live with knowing your son was murdered.

At least Adam did not die in vain. His parents have made sure of that. Adam gave us a lot of what we see today when we see missing children recovery programs being instituted. He was one of the first cases ever to get national attention like that, if I'm not mistaken.
